Peter Chan takes a walk around the Singapore F1 circuit

Peter Chan, a Friend of Yesterday.sg, took a walk around the Marina Bay Street Circuit this afternoon. He emailed me the photos and kindly gave me permission to post them here. So, here goes!

AF1 at Turn 1 and Turn 2-2008

The first two corners. Hmm… possibility of an accident as 20 cars come flying through?

AF1 Turn 11 Chicane-2008

Chicane near Singapore Cricket Club.

AF1protective barriers at Anderson Bridge-2008

Armco barriers at Anderson Bridge.

AF1 Team Toyota at Turn 16-2008

Toyota team checking out the track near the Bay Grandstand where I will be seated! IR construction in the background.

AF1 in the pit stop area-3-2008

Renaults under protective tarp, Ferarri containers and pits in the background.

AF1 in the pit stop area-1-2008

Possibly BMW, with the Renaults further back. Someone’s obviously been to 7-Eleven. Strategic product placement?

AF1 in the pit stop areaRED BULL-5-2008

Red Bull freight container next to… Toyota perhaps. David Coulthard’s pit in the background.

AF1 view of pit stop area from Turn 23-2008

Looking down the Start-Finish straight.

Thanks, Peter, once again, for emailing these to me and allowing me to post them! =)

Thanks, QuaChee. These are Peter Chan’s photos. Unfortunately, he doesn’t blog, which is why I posted these for him. (Come on, Peter, time to start a blog of your own!) He does comment though… =)
