Stuck

Train stuck at Buona Vista

It’s been quiet around here.

July has been a busy month. Didn’t help that I was ill two weekends ago.

That’s the third time I’ve fallen ill during the weekend this year.

I’m also gaining weight, as one of my colleagues never fails to point out.

It’s time to get moving.

Yeah noticed that you haven’t been updating your blog as often as you normally would. How come you are falling ill so frequently?

Adrian, I wish I knew. I half jokingly blame Singapore. I’ve always been susceptible to colds here.

While in Melbourne, I never suffered from this. Think I only fell ill twice in two years. High fever once and a minor cold another time.

Maybe it’s really Singapore….maybe it’s an allergic reaction! Or just the sheer number of people allows for easy, fast and effective spread of viruses, mutations of viruses etc? Nice seeing random pictures of Singapore. The MRT looks so comfortably airconditioned….

It is definitely a reaction to the climate here. A cesspool of microbes and what-have-you.

As for the train carriages, they should join all twelve of them together to ease the congestion during peak hours.
