But seriously, taking on driving duties for the whole of the journey was brutal. Yes, horse riding can be dangerous. We had to sign disclaimers before we went on the ride. The horses we had we all very nice and obedient. <strong>@ Patricea</strong> That's right. I think I was still temp-ing at GetAsia then. Hmmm... Christchurch is just a tad too quiet for me though. But then, I'm biased towards Melbourne. Your photographs brought back loads of memories, especially of Christchurch (I still want to retire there) and Queenstown. I still recall that my friend called me from Dunedin - he was working there - when I was in Queenstown. It was one of the best 13 days I spent in my life, so far... The previous day, 1 lady from our group fell off the horse and fractured her leg. When our turn came, as we were returning and approaching the stables, my youngest daughter's horse suddenly sped back and she fell off. Thank God she was not hurt. She was only 10 then.
