Chun See, it was not the view of the setting sun in the photo that told me it was evening.

Mouse over the photo and the filename "Sunset from Braddell Road" pops up. Yes, that's the same new trick I just told you about the other day. You should really try to remember some new things, not always only the good old days. :P

Silly me. I thot the shot was taken in the morning. Not observant like Victor who would hae noticed the setting sun in the west. BTW, I have a shot of this flyover when when it was being constructed. Why .. long story. Interested?

Thanks, Victor. It's a Pinto shot. ;)

You can't base public policy on one photo. A study must be convened to justify the Gahmen's preconceived stand on the issue.

(Of course Braddell Road is empty. All the traffic is stuck around Macritchie.)

Nice photo. A cannon, I mean, Canon shot?

"But the photo showed that the road is quite empty and free-flowing during evening peak hours," did I hear you say?

The official reply would be "Ahh... that shows that our ERP is working and the price increases are justified."

However, if you had used a photo of a congested road, the reply would be "We need a multi-prong approach to control traffic congestion. If it is still congested, then we will need to build another gantry there and/or raise the ERP even more."

So either way, motorists can't win.

You're right, Chun See. The overhead bridge is between the mosque and SPH. I took this photo in the direction of the Bishan-Braddell flyover. You can see the distinctive silhouette of a Bishan East point block just to the right. SPH HQ is obscured by the huge crown of a tree on the left.

I am trying to figure out where you took this picture from Is it from an overhead bridge near the mosque? And looking in direction of the flyover?
