Movie mania

Movie mania

Scoop | The Departed | The Island | Malcolm X | Syriana | The Prestige | Happy Endings | Serenity | Clean | An Inconvenient Truth | The Sum Of All Fears | He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not (borrowed, waiting to watch) | The Big Bounce (borrowed, waiting ran out of time to watch) | Going to watched Days of Glory| Hopefully will get to watch The Black Dahlia | Probably will watch Happy Feet

Yup, I’ve been on a bit of a movie rental rampage recently. I think I’ve watched more movies this month than I have between the whole of last year ’til the start of this movie mania.

Blame it on the plasma.

But among those movies are some that I’ve watched in the cinema.

Blame it on Scarlett.

VideoEzy at Junction 8 is fast running out of titles that interest me though. They seriously need to expand their collection.

I am trying out the Hollywoodclicks.com and find it very convenient. I think they have a very good business model. Besides, they have some old titles that u cannot find in VideoEasy. For example; Final Countdown and Cassandra Crossing; which I just watched with my son. Sometimes, I prefer to re-watch old movies than to see the new ones. Next I am getting Midway.

  3. A colleague of mine recommended that too. Not sure about the subscription. I’m a very cyclical video/movie watcher. Can go for long periods without watching a movie, and *bam* suddenly I watch a lot in a short period.

But this is probably the most intensive movie watching period I’ve ever gone through. Oh, and I rewatched a few episodes of Band of Brothers too…

Pls note I said good biz model, not necessarily good for you the consumer.

  5. saw scoop recently. bloody brilliant movie – i think i will get my grubby little hands on a dvd. hugh jackman is blazing hot!!!

reminded me of matchpoint (another one with scarlett as well and woody allen, but as director) which is like a non-funny version of scoop, minus the ghosts.

  6. @Chun See Yet you find it convenient. ;)

@Priscilla: Yup, I watched Match Point too. But that was slightly before my movie mania. Jonathan Rhys Meyers must die…

:P Ok, his character should lah.

Wait a minute… Woody Allen wasn’t in Match Point, but he did direct it.
