I’ve been attending a radio news course with a few student producer-presenters* from Radio Pulze. It culminated on Saturday with an “as live” half-hour discussion forum. There were three groups. I was with Dylan and Michelle.
The radio forum project was a throwback to my days in Mass Communication at Ngee Ann Polytechnic. It was strange juggling work and a student project. I enjoyed myself even though it proved to be a bit of a challenge. Working with students made me feel a bit younger than I am.
My group’s forum was about Copyright and Music. We planned and prepared as best we could. The forum ran smoothly enough. I think there was a lot of room for improvement, but it was a good attempt overall. Dylan, Michelle: great working with both of you. To everyone: a job well done!
Unfortunately, I don’t have photos of my project - I was the forum moderator. But I did take a few shots of the others.
* Our Mass Comm lecturers taught us to call ourselves producer-presenters, not DJs, because the job involves more than being just a disc jockey.
