Another year.
Another Nomination Day.
Another walkover in Bishan-Toa Payoh GRC. (graphic modified from CNA’s GE site)
For those of you that have the privilege of voting: Please, find out what’s happening around you. Read things straight from the horses’ mouth.
I’m just appalled that some people don’t even know which constituency…
Okay.

/ Thursday, 27 April 2006I concur.
Lots of my friends in their 20s, have no idea of Current Knowledge.
Some just want to get it over and done with.
The apathy is really telling.
I think I am one of those few in that age range who is truly excited by current affairs and do intend to use my choices to the best of my “empowerment.”
But I got exams till 4 May. Can’t really follow the happenings because I stay in a hostel in Clementi while my IC address shows Tampines. How to really assess?
Now cannot gauge through internet also. Sigh.

/ Friday, 28 April 2006Yep, definitely going to be paying attention to the news more often and visiting the various websites and get whatever info i can. Although, i have to say 3 out of the party people in my constituency are complete strangers to me. What have they done and contributed, i really have no idea. Well, guess i can say the same for the SDP party running against the PAP then.
Anyways, should be interesting how the votes are going to play out. Darcy was asking me since Khaw Boon Wan and Shamugam is in my constituency and i personally do like Shamugam. So is my vote going to PAP? I don’t know, i can be swayed. No fixed view. New sponge waiting to absorb everything it can. Blank piece of paper that can be written on. Clay that be molded. So we’ll see who i vote for. :P

/ Friday, 28 April 2006@manicirony: Unfortunately, it’s not just limited to your friends in their early 20s. It seems to cut across ages.
@Ee: My overwalk post has the elections rally info you are looking for.
