the renovation is finally over.

monday morning, i will move my stuff back to the office. it’s bittersweet. i’ve come to know my colleagues a lot better during the past few months, thanks to the open concept temporary office we occupied.

i’ll have to get used to the high-walled cubicles again. most of my colleagues are very happy to be moving back. i suppose there’s comfort in familiar surroundings, in privacy. the fact that our old office has windows, some windows, unlike – as my boss’ secretary referred to the temp office – batu caves.

still, i wonder if i’m the only one who will miss the ‘direct access’ the temporary office offered. well, i am looking forward to customizing and decorating my cubicle. =)
